我能听懂粤语，但就是看不懂。 谷歌翻译的很多词都是正确的，但是当我写英文而不是翻译成中文时，有时意思是没有意义的，所以我不得不想其他方法来用英文写我的句子。 （就像现在一样）。 幸运的是，我有可以使用的文字转语音软件，所以我可以完全理解人们在说什么。
I do not think Google Translate is a good tool for you.
It does translate Chinese to English, but not Cantonese to English,
which will create strange sentences.
Maybe you could try Baidu's translation, it has an option 'Cantonese to English'.
However I have never tested it, so not certain about the result.
Perhaps if you used it, you could indicate me how it looked like.

great! Thanks for the tip. I will look into it. The thing with Western internet networks is that there are restrictions or none allowing access to certain services to Eastern Internet networks. so making it very limited in finding any kind of resources or tool at your disposal. yeah....... google translate makes my sentences more in the form of Chinese textbook-type language. not something you would use in common communication.

I can literally speak and read Chinese, English, and Spanish. You can ask me anything you haven't figured out yet, and I will do my best to help you, provided I really know the answer.
I'm also working hard to raise my ranking, and I have a variety of resources in my hands. However, you should know, the problem is being outside mainland China uploading stuff to, say, Baidu, is a real pain in the axx.
On top of that, I literally have little to no time. XDD
There are quite a few Hong Kong people here, they should be able to speak fluent English, welcome this friend from the UK, how did you know about this forum? (Google Translate)
